“The opportunity for promotion within IF Marketing is unbelievable. In the last 12 months I have seen a great number of sales trainee’s move into assistant manager and management positions. It is fantastic to see!”

Meet The Team
This Meet The Team section of our website allows you to read and understand a little more about some of the senior members of our Team.

Andrew Branson (Managing Director)
Andy comes very much from a sales background and, as such, understands the industry and knows what it takes to be successful. He has used his experience to build IF Marketing in such a way that those working for the company are well looked after in terms of training and opportunity for advancement. He also places a lot of emphasis on having fun at work (while of course maintaining a professional image!) and this is why IF Marketing attracts so much interest from many that have never considered working in sales before. He understands the conditions that sales people enjoy working under and the conditions under which they excel and he has created IF Marketing to mirror this vision. In addition to Andy’s management at IF Marketing he has also built and is Managing Director of IF Telecom – a full range provider of business telecommunication solutions.

Jesse Volpe (National Sales Manager)
Jesse joined IF Marketing as a Sales Trainee back in March 2008. Never short on confidence, Jesse would suggest that his progression to management came as the result of a natural ability and flair for sales. The truth is, however, that he got to where he is now through hard work and is a good example of how, with a bit of graft and commitment, anyone can advance and succeed within the company structure. He is now overseeing campaigns in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth with Tasmania and Canberra on the horizon.

Ross Taylor (State Sales Manager for South Australia)
In 2007 Ross was looking for a change of career direction and decided to try his hand at sales despite having no experience in the industry. A couple of years down the line and he found himself presented with the opportunity of relocating from Victoria to South Australia as the new state Sales Manager for IF Marketing. This was achieved through taking on board the expert training that was provided but, perhaps more importantly, demonstrating a real positive can-do attitude. Ross, now managing the state from our Adelaide office, can only speak highly about the direction he took.

George Weedon (National Operations Manager)
George has been with IF Marketing since day one and, as such, boasts an in depth knowledge of the company. This experience has provided the ideal foundation for his current role in managing company operations. He began his IF Marketing career as a Sales Trainee where he gathered invaluable experience working on the front line. He has since moved off the field and into the office as he enjoys more of an administrative role, liaising with the client and managing everything from product developments to recruitment.

Grant Fairly (State Sales Manager in Victoria)
Grant arrived on IF Marketing’s doorstep mid-way through 2009 with a determined view to making a career out of sales. As an individual he is a most accomplished salesman but his stand out asset is his selflessness in always putting his team before his own success. He will happily make a personal sacrifice to ensure that his guys are reaching their potential and achieving the results that they deserve. This paired with a commitment to learning fast and the sense to take advantage of the resources that IF Marketing offer to facilitate career advancement, have seen him move up the ladder at record speeds.

Carl Jones (State Sales Manager in Western Australia)
Carl’s career story at IF Marketing is a staggering tale of progression and transformation from top class chef to Western Australia State Sales Manager in under a year. He has provided us with a great example to show those joining the business what can be achieved in a short space of time when ambition and drive are met with enthusiasm and hard work. His passion for success in business is matched only by his obsession with English football and, in particular, his beloved Everton FC. Perth will need to brace itself for the season ahead as he dons the blue shirt and the Merseyside chants echo from his terrace. The future looks bright for IF Marketing if we can continue to recruit such characters.

Rhea Gounder (Sales Support)
Rhea is a relative newcomer to the company in comparison to those already mentioned. Since she walked through the door half way through 2010, IF Marketing has gone through a program of rapid expansion and, subsequently, her position has taken on a new-found importance. She is essentially the cornerstone of the company as she manages the sales process from start to finish. She supports the teams when they are on the field meeting customers, looks after the sales once they are submitted and generally ensures that those out selling have all they need to hit their personal targets and achieve success. One thing new recruits learn quickly is: if you want to make it in the company, be nice to Rhea!
